Unlike other gate installers we are manufacturers of wrought iron work. All metal fabrication takes place in our work premises using in house fabricators. Our engineering capabilities enable the design and commission of intricate and unique constructions.

Art Deco Gate

Design, fabricated and installed by Arts of Steel. This bespoke art deco construction comprises of automatic double swing gates. In this occasion the physical supports consist of triangle metal columns which have been designed as an extension to the gate feature.

The vandal resistant bespoke colour video intercom has been built within the right hand side column, whilst on the left hand side column, a mirror plate has been laser cut with theme. Down lights providing illumination to the intercom and house name, whilst drive over up lights have been installed within granite stones and within the base of each column to also provide illumination from below.

The access control system comprises of free exit/safety vehicle detector, safety photo cells, push exit pedestrian button and bespoke engraved tradesmen and visitors buttons, together with electronic key pad on the video intercom.

Underground invisible hydraulic hybrid operators are used to automate the gates.

Ornamental Prestigious Entrance

A complete entrance construction comprising of automatic double swing gates, brick piers with expansion plinths and brick design features, curved walls leading to smaller piers & reconstituted stone pier caps.

The property name isengraved on slate stones, recessed within the brick work. The access control system comprises of vehicle detectors, vandal resistant video intercom with electronic key pad and bespoke engraved function buttons, a stand alone post with weather shield to accommodate push exit button, and key pad within driveway.

Also two bespoke large lantern lights have been designed, fabricated and installed at a later date by Arts of Steel Limited.

Designed & built in harmony with existing building

A complete entrance construction comprising of automatic double swing gates, brick piers with expansion plinths and reconstituted pier caps.

The hard landscape includes square granite stones with drive over up lights beneath gate, circular bespoke posts, single Kent engineered bricks beneath curved bespoke railings, plus square and rectangular granite paving.

The large capacity post box has been built within the railing panel and has been modified to accommodate a custom built vandal resistant, stainless steel video intercom with electronic key pad and engraved buttons. The bricks have been carefully chosen to provide a match to the property. Bespoke railings and circular physical supports have been installed to the front boundary of the property.

The access control system comprises of vandal resistant video intercom with electronic key pad, bespoke engraved function buttons and a stand alone post to accommodate push exit button and safety devices.

Vehicle and pedestrian gate, multi use application

A complete entrance construction for multi user development in Surrey.

This project comprises of a double leaf swing electric automatic gate, pedestrian gate and railings. The physical supports consist of large square sections (200 x 200 mm) decorated with large spheres. The access control system comprises of vehicle detectors and safety devises to control flow of traffic The pedestrian gate has been fitted with an auto closure.

Classic wrought iron gate with brick piers as physical supports

A complete entrance construction comprising of automatic double swing gates, brick piers and walls with reconstituted stone pier caps. The engineered dark grey bricks above the link wall between piers provide protection from the weather whilst at the same time complimenting the slates.

The property name is engraved on slate stones, recessed within the brick work. Wall lights illuminate the gated area whilst walk over flush ground lights illuminate the house name.

In this application the hinges have been installed at the rear of the brick work allowing an excess of 90 degrees opening. The gate will completely clear the area between the brick piers when fully open to allow easy access. Essential for sharp curved driveways or where the overall clearance width between posts or brick piers is restricted.

Metal steel core posts have been installed prior to brick pier erection. This will enable the brick work to sustain vibration and is to provide rigidity, allowing heavy duty iron gates to be supported directly from brick piers. The access control system comprises of vehicle detectors and bespoke engraved function buttons and safety devises.
